Mark began his career at SDI Architects + Design in 1998 after moving back to Miles City from Everett, Washington, where he put his mechanical engineering degree to use as an interiors design engineer for Boeing Commercial Airplanes.

Mark provides a solid engineering background and in-depth knowledge of design and construction, particularly of roofing and steel products. His interests lie within the technicalities of building and construction details, and he has been an integral asset to our team due to his working knowledge and fine-tuned attention to detail in these detailed areas.

Mark is responsible for acting as an on-site construction manager and surveyor, as well as preparing and producing general contract documents and drawings, to include shop drawings, during the construction phases of a project. Mark also serves as the firm’s computer and internet technologies manager – an integral role in the ever-changing landscape of technology in the design industry.
